2025 will mark a special milestone for the Sportful Dolomiti Race, celebrating three decades of history. This important anniversary of Feltre’s granfondo—one of the longest-running and most iconic in Italy—will be commemorated with a series of events and new features.

The main change involves the long route: after the updates introduced in 2024, the 2025 edition will keep the same climbs but reverse the direction of the “Agordino loop.” Once in Rivamonte Agordino, participants will first tackle Forcella Staulanza from Alleghe, followed by Passo Duran from Dont, reversing the order from the previous year. From Agordo, the route will return to its traditional path, including Forcelle Aurine, Passo Cereda, and Passo Croce d’Aune.

According to Ivan Piol, president of the organizing committee and of Pedale Feltrino, this change will help manage traffic more efficiently, thanks to right-hand turns at key junctions, such as in Caprile (for Staulanza) and Dont (for Duran). From a physical standpoint, this new order will mean a nearly uninterrupted climb of about 35 km after leaving Agordo, with the toughest section starting in Caprile: a 15 km ascent to the highest point. The long route will be 4 km longer, more demanding, although the total elevation gain will remain roughly the same.

The medium route will remain unchanged: 125 km with 2,500 meters of elevation gain. Here too, riders will face Forcelle Aurine, Cereda, and Croce d’Aune after reaching Rivamonte.

The first edition of this historic granfondo dates back to June 25, 1995, when 1,206 Italian cyclists and 7 international riders took part in the event, which was created to mark the unveiling of the Tullio Campagnolo monument on Passo Croce d’Aune. At the time, the race started in Feltre’s town center and ended at the top of the pass.

Today, the event has grown significantly: over 4,000 participants, with more than 20% coming from abroad. The finish line is now located in the heart of Feltre’s historic center, in Piazza Maggiore.

The registration fee is €80.
